Maze no Oka Auto Campground
Overlooking the Asakawa Bay, the Maze no Oka Auto Campground is one great way to experience some of Kaiyo’s natural beauty. With a variety of camping options, ranging from fully furnished cabins to open grassy spaces for tent-pitching, as well as indoor and outdoor activity spaces, the campground has plenty of options to suit any kind of camping experience you might be looking for.
While you can use the cookware provided in each cabin to prepare your provisions, you can also book space in the newly renovated barbeque house or rent a charcoal grill to use at your campsite! There are also barbeque meal sets on offer, which you can easily supplement with the variety of snacks available for purchase at the Center House near the check-in desk.
The Campground is also home to an indoor heated pool, an outdoor amphitheater-style event space, and an indoor volleyball court-style gymnasium. For sport, there are outdoor tennis courts, a baseball field nearby. Also in the area you can find the Picnic Park, which boasts a large picnic area, outdoor playground, and Ebigaike Pond. The pond is a popular spot for bird watching and leisurely strolls. The area is naturally beautiful and easily walkable, making it a great place with lots to do for the whole family!
