今回のレッスンでは「W」質問（what,where等）を使って、相手の過去の出来事について尋ねる方法を紹介していくよ！
In this Global Café Extra, we ask “W” questions to get more information about something that happened in the past.
こういった質問は、すでに何かあった出来事（例えば知り合いが最近京都に旅行した、または先週出張で東京に行ったなど）を知って、それについて詳しく知りたい時に尋ねる質問だよ！
You can ask these questions for more information when you know something has happened already, for example, if a friend travelled to Kyoto recently.
前回の記事では、現在形の動詞「do」と「is」を使った「W」質問をしてみたんだけど、今回は過去形の動詞「did」を使った「W」の質問で、知り合いの旅行について詳しく聞いてみよう！
In the previous Global Café Extra, we asked “W” questions with present tense verbs “do” and “is”. This time, we can try and use the past tense verb “did” with “W” questions to learn more information about their trip!
上記の例を使って、質問の例文を作ってみよう！

What did you eat there?
What festival did you see there?
What place did you go to in Kyoto?
