We had our first festival stand! | 祭りデビューしたよ！

8月20日にピア海部での納涼祭で屋台を開いたよ！見に来てくれたかな？
We were at the nouryousai festival at PIA Kaifu on August 20th! Did you come and check out our stand?
納涼祭とは、夏の暑さを避けるために夕方の涼しさを楽しむ祭りだと聞いたけど、オーストラリアには季節や気候の変化を祝ったり、楽しんだりするための祭りはないんだよね。コロナ禍でいろんな催しの中止が続く中、海陽町では久しぶりに祭りが開催されていたようだったので、とても賑やかだったよ！
I heard that in Japan, the nouryousai is for people to enjoy the cool evening breeze in summer. We don’t have festivals to celebrate seasons and the weather in Australia compared to Japan. It seems like it’s been a while since we had a festival in Kaiyo, so it was very lively there!
海陽町グローバルチームの屋台では、海外のお菓子の販売や、勝ったら海外のお菓子をもらえるゲームをやったよ！ 子どもから大人まで人気があって、たくさんのお菓子を配ることができたよ！
We had snacks and games to play so that you could win some foreign sweets from America and Australia! Many children and even adults came to try it out, and we were able to give out a lot of sweets!
英語でじゃんけんの司会もしたよ！グウェナフェイとジェフに勝つことができたかなー？
Gwenafaye and Jeff also MC’d the English Rock-Paper-Scissors contest! Did you win any prizes?
もしかしたら今後もお祭りに出るかもしれないので、楽しみにしてね！
